"I am so unbelievably disappointed with VU bowling tonight. We showed up to bowl at 9:09 (mind you it's a Friday night)to be informed they stopped selling games at 9:05, no exceptions! When I asked why we couldn't buy 1 game when they don't close for 51 minutes, I was informed "that's the way we close". The kids working were overall rude. Not to mention after we used the restroom, I noticed they were shutting down completely at 910. Don't have a closing hour of 10:00, if you don't stay open until 10:00."
"How this place has an average rating of 4.5 is beyond me. Well to the point though, the first time was alright but was def worth the energy to come. But today was completely different. They had hired some new employees it seems which normally isn't a problem for me, but when I got there I was told there would be a 20 minute wait and I just was asked to write my name down on a piece of paper (even though there were like 4 or 5 other lanes open). While I was waiting, there were a bunch of lanes that were breaking down and the same person who told me to wait was just sitting at the desk doing nothing and same for a couple of the other employees, while there was only one person who was trying to get the lanes fixed and they looked fully aware. I also waited like 30 minutes and still no lanes even though their were still a few open that at least looked repairable. It's a shame who they want to hire now it seems. Unless you wanna waste your time and money, don't come here because they will do just that."
