"My son attends here, my daughter will also soon. The Principal has done everything we have asked and went above and beyond for our son. All the staff there have."

"Great school! Teachers go above and beyond for their students. I love the family atmosphere and the support of the school to church to home goes each way."

"This school is not what it seems. Christian should not be in the name of this school. The principal is a very racist man who does not like diversity or the ideas of any other person. I just graduated from the school this year.( I came to Lansing Christian in the 4th grade) The time that I entered LCS I had the best principal ever. Then when I entered 5th grade Jon Postma became the new principal of LCS. He really didn't do much so nobody really thought anything of him, good or bad he was just…their. And did what was needed. When I entered 6th grade it was the same…kinda. Now to 7th grade his true colors and personality have come to light. Oh and before I continue. He took away some of the fun activities we did in the school. Like going to the roller rink for example. And turning the fall fest into trash. And also budgets for buses to get kids to and from school or from school to a field trip were cut. He made this school go so far down hill. The year that I graduated 27 kids did not return. Some of the reasons are for the teachers being rude to them, I can name two instances of teachers being rude: 1. A kid it was called a black shadow by one of the teachers(he had a dark skin complexion btw). 2. (and this is the one that happened to me) this was during my eighth grade BIBLE class. My teacher told me and the entire eighth-grade class, that all black people speak incorrectly/with an accent. He said that we don't know how to pronounce are vowels correctly. I told him, "That's not true." He then replied with, " Well, some people have their opinions, and some people have their accents." And it stoped their. Each time after these instances the students have tried to talk to the principal so that he could do something about it, but guess what (this is a shocker). He doesn't do anything, he just asks you, "What did you do to provoke this person to say this" and no matter what you say it will still be your fault, if you are the minority. And Just this week I have gotten news that the principal, Jon Postma, has fired the only black person working in the school(she is the woman who showed you are around the school/gave you a tour of the school). And all because of HIM and HIS wrong doing of making 27 students not want to come back to LCS. So I want to stop writing right here. Now to say, this was just a little warning if you want to go to the school. More has happened here, and more will happen here. Just like all schools…right."

"My Kindergartener loves it there! He tells me it's the best school in the world. He has learned life lessons and conceptual ideas rather than basic ABCs and math. His growth is evident in his conversations. Friendly staff and children!"

"My wife and I were extremely pleased with the education that both of our boys received here. They received a high quality, Christ-centered education."
