"This is our go-to urgent care. My husband has some weird hobbies he often goes too hard on and we've ended up here for stitches more than once. My toddler has also been a couple of times for various reasons. I recently went when I clearly had strep and my family physician couldn't see me for a few days. The front staff has always been quick, friendly, and professional with us. The wait times are always reasonable (it always seems longer when you're in there but then I'll look at my phone and realize it was pretty fast). The couple of doctors we've seen have been knowledgeable and listened to us with any concerns we've had. The nurses have all been friendly and open. We might be in the minority but we love this urgent care and won't go elsewhere unless this one is closed."

"I come to the urgent care often because it’s close by and they typically don’t have a long wait time. I’ve been here 2 times in the last week. Both times, the two receptionists, well one specifically, red hair are rude. Last Thursday She was talking her personal life with the other receptionist very loudly and inappropriate. Today she was eating food, which in a healthcare environment, seems unsanitary. She was still talking about her personal life while she had food in her mouth. She’s loud and when I don’t feel good, I know I do not want to hear loud voices unnecessarily. The person who brought me back to the room, not sure if she is a nurse or not, clearly didn’t want to be present. I understand it’s winter and people are sick and cranky. I do not feel like she was professional and she lacked empathy. I’m assuming that there is no expected code of conduct required to work here. I’ve been a patient of riverview since 1997 and the quality lacks every visit."

"My son had a cut on his lip that we weren’t sure needed stitches. We don't have any other urgent cares near us. We were in there for 15 min. He got glue instead of stitches. It was before 8 PM (which means it was an Urgent Care visit instead of an ER visit). Want to guess the bill? $875 before insurance. Insurance brought it down to $255. Does anybody else see how outrageous that is? Is that really the minimum amount they bill to insurance for an urgent care visit? I can assure you it wasn't more than 30 sec. worth of work. Absolutely shameful price gauging. I tremble at how much an actual injury costs at this urgent care. I wish I had read the recent reviews before coming here."

"I was very disappointed in my experience with this urgent care clinic. We live down the road and I took my husband in for vertigo. The front desk lady was rude, not helpful, and didn’t seem like she knew anything. The staff was not very empathetic of my emotions in the heat of the moment and made it seem like a hassle for me to ask them anything. They said things that just worried me more and it just felt very insensitive. my husband is fine now, but I’m not sure I would take anyone there again… the comments behind my back when they thought I couldn’t hear them, the way they addressed things, the lack of help when there were hardly any other patients, pressed the call button and no one came, told them the machine was beeping and they said “I don’t know why it’s beeping”….not pleased. Do better."
