"While under the care of Nurse Practitioner Martin, she missed the diagnosis of a tongue tie for 3.5 months of our newborn. This undiagnosed tie caused my child to spit up a large majority of her milk, and not get enough calories in to grow properly. Can you imagine not eating for 3.5 months? Starving our child for her lack of a working diagnosis is infuriating. Later when we found out about the tie, diagnosed at another facility, we scheduled the surgery at another location, she decided to turn us into cps as if her slow growth was due to neglect from us as parents. We were up every three hours feeding our child. I feel like the unprofessional way in which she handled things has lead to this review, and a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. Her notes also read that she did infact look in my child’s mouth, twice, which she did not. If she would have, she would have been able to see the tongue tie and get a proper diagnosis, if she did in fact look in my child’s mouth, maybe she does t know what a tongue tie is? Cps should never be used as a way to retaliate against anyone, furthermore, a doctor patient relationship should be built on trust. When we saw how she treated us, we found it best to write this review so others could be made aware of how she operates. To be clear this did not happen at the Trafalgar office, but she does not have a personal profile that i can leave a review on. We have a new pediatrician and she is fantastic. Our youngest is doing great now!"
