"I find Horizon Health in Paris Illinois to be an exceptional hospital/clinic. I am afraid for many years before when it was Paris Community Hospital, I did not have this same opinion. However; since then, this hospital has been updating their building and procedures, fine tuning their services and adding many more services with the convenience and care of their patients in mind. I recently had an outpatient surgery there which prompted this review. Those services were without a doubt, Superb. For the doctors personal staff and the outpatient surgery staff, the preoperative communications were timely and outstanding. For the surgery, all procedures were thoroughly explained before administration and discharge instructions were thorough and informative with a personal note to get better from the doctor. All of the staff were kind, friendly, caring, knowledgeable and overall exceptional in their field. From the intake staff, to the nurses, attendees, anesthesiologist and the doctor, Dr. Menchaca - I was well taken care of. I initially had dreaded this surgery but it was without cause. I could not have asked for a better experience and will not hesitate to return if need should be. Horizon Health has come a long way since being the Paris Community Hospital and it has all been for the better. It is not just a business, it is a business of caring."
