"I had an appointment at 4 pm and nobody was there sat there waited 30 mins for someone to show I called the local office out side of Walmart the first time I spoke with someone and whomever I spoke with assured me that the tax prep was there and I sat another 10-15 mins waiting around and no one showed up this is really poor customer service and very unconsiderate I'm highly frustrated and annoyed at this point seeing that I had an appointment and couldn't get any help from Jackson Hewitt this is why I stop filing with this company to begin with wasted my time"

"Cost me 700$. I had an appointment at 4:00 and didn’t get seen or even acknowledged until 6:30. I didn’t get to leave until around 8 pm. This had to have been the rudest person I’ve ever met. She DID NOT want to be there. While complaining about everyone and everything, she begrudgingly banged on the keyboard as she entered my information. Not kidding! I’m surprised the keyboard still worked after she was finished. She was rude to other customers waiting in line also. She gave me no information, didn’t ask me any questions, and I basically had to beg her to file my taxes correctly and add my deductions. The icing on the cake was the parting gift she left- chocolate stains on my social security card because she decided to use it as a plate for her melted candy bar she was eating. Are you freaking kidding me? Four hours later Seven. Hundred. Dollars. I’ll never be back."

"My tax preparer found that I had not filed my state taxes along with my federal taxes the previous year, so she gave me the number to call to ascertain if that was correct, and reminded me to call the corporate office and go to a local Walmart to file immediately. She thoroughly explained that I had moved into the 12% tax bracket and that the child tax credit was reduced from $3600 to $2000. therefore I understood the amount of my tax refund for this year. I am in good hands with Jackson Hewitt."

"The lady was extremely rude! Did not acknowledge me or my dad, took a personal call, had a disgusting attitude as if she didn’t want to be bothered with anyone and she kept beating on the keyboard tabs, lol. I only gave 1 star because I wouldn’t be able to type this if I didn’t."

"If I could give it a negative I would. I was employed with this company they have poor communication skills all the way up to the manager level. I asked about a issue with my pay where they failed to pay me for the two weeks that I’ve worked. I contacted the manager and received a one word response. No one has reached out or has yet to give an update on the issue. I will not recommend this company to be a tax preparer nor to have tax return done this is my first and last time doing business with Jackson Hewitt zero stars."
