"I returned to JH this year after working with a great tax preparer last year. Since I'd moved, I went to a new location. I was charged $500 for a tax appointment that lasted 50 minutes. What a rip off! It was not what I was expecting based on my previous experience. The only explanation I got was that it was because I have a dependent (which didn't change from the previous year) which required extra paperwork (even though that information was already in their system and required no extra work). I don't pay $500+ an hour for anything. My tax filing was simple and uncomplicated. I won't be back."
