"Right now, whoever is operating the phones as the operator, that needs to be handled as well as some of the workers for optometry at Jesse Brown VA. I unfortunately have been experiencing issues for the past two days to the point I have had to get my caseworker involved for some help to try and get replacement glasses and im still not receiving the help I need even the case manager had issues helping me. I've been hung up on with no response and now im just getting pushed to voice-mail no matter if I call back to back or give it some time and try again. Optometry at Jesse brown not only had an attitude but they definitely weren't willing enough to be civil and handle the situation with care and talked about me in the background while I was still on the phone with the person they were asking questions to. I don't know what's going on but I do know that all of the VA hospitals being attached to Jesse Brown to call/make appointments isn't working. It's tiresome for those who have anxiety and are trying to stay calm in a situation where they aren't receiving the help they are asking for to get what they need. Optometry isn't answering either. It just continues to ring..."

"I've been assigned to this clinic for 26 years. Overall, very reliable and respectful service to Vets, but there's always that "few" that sometimes makes it unpleasant. I urge other Vets to get over those few, I've seen some of them eventually weeded out. The Lab and the Pharmacy are fantastic. You may have to wait, but they are really good, considering the volume of patients they have. I've had the same General Medicine Doctor for 20 years at ABJVA. She's Great. My Doctor in Mental Hygiene is very good also, even though I've had her but for a short while. X-Ray techs rank out highly to me, also. I would go Five Star for the entire Facility, but certain ones there stop me from doing that. I ignore them and let the true caregivers/professionals do their jobs."
