"If you are looking for a cheap hotel remember you'll get what you paid for if you stay here at the super 8. My sister and my mother checked in hours before I did. They had to get a room on the first floor since the elevator is out of order and my mother is handicapped. When I finally arrived around 11:30 pm the night audit at the front desk was new she asked me what room so she could make me a key. I was very surprised at this because I was not asked for ID and the night audit had no access to the computer to confirm or deny that I was a guest. I'm thinking in my head this is a security issue. My sister did complain to the front about when you turn off the light at the front door of the room it also turns out the cable box. I understand she's new and may not know how to fix the issue but once again I was very surprised at her actions she threw her hands up in the air and shrugged her shoulders and said she has no idea. This is not very professional . My suggestion for her is please write a note or send an email to a manager or the owner and how to fix the issue and if she can't do it on her shift then maybe when the next shift comes in they can resolve the issue. The next morning I did ask the front desk once again about the issue so we can get it resolved I guess she was the owner and she did resolve the issue which I think her very much for doing so but also I suggest if certain items have to be plugged in certain outlets maybe get a label maker and label each outlet in each room so staff and other guests can plug in the correct plugs to the correct outlet. Breakfast with small and simple waffle, 2 choices of cereal and instant oatmeal. My mother is a diabetic and there was no sugar-free syrup good thing there's a Kroger right across the Street . And there's a Hardee's 3 minutes away and has delicious breakfast even gravy and biscuits. Now the hotel does have a fitness center I did not use it I'm not the type that works out . I did go swimming it does have an indoor pool but once again I was concerned with a security issue the pool door from the hallway does not lock you do not need a room key to have access to it. Just push the door and walk on . There is a security camera in the hallway but no cameras in the pool area so hopefully no one will ever need medical assistance or any other type of security issues where a camera would come in handy. Definitely remember to bring your own towel for the pool since they do not keep in the pool area you have to ask them from the front desk and make sure you leave your towel that you use in the pool area because you may get charged. And I was also surprised at the actions and remarks from the front desk when I did ask for some pool towels the lady at the front desk seemed irritated when I asked and replied I already gave out all the pool towels so I can give you some bath towels but you have to make sure you leave it in the pool room or I have to write your room number down. Also there was no steps walking down into the pool you had to use a ladder that goes straight up and down that is fine for younger people but if you had surgery on your leg or disabled in any way this may be an issue especially since they don't have no handicap accessible chair lift which I thought was mandatory to have but maybe it's not maybe I'm wrong maybe it's only mandatory to have in certain states . A friend of mine that stayed a few doors down could not enjoy the pool because she just had surgery and could not get in and out of the pool and my mother is handicapped as well and she could not enjoy the pool without the chair lift. They do have a shower in the pool what they do not have a bathroom in the pool area you do have to go down the hall if you need to use one . They do have a pop vending machine and a snacks vending machine and an ice machine what is sign posted on it that says do not fill up coolers I found that to be very interested. Now my room was actually clean the beds were hard and the pillows were flat. Overall I did not enjoy my stay but it was cheap and it did it's purpose."

"I booked online through Expedia, me and my husband and our 3 service animals arrived about 2:30am eastern time. I called the hotel many hours in advance to inform them we would be arriving late and to ensure someone would be available to check us is. Me and my husband travel for our job, and we drove 11 hours from South Dakota. We were refused service due to us refusing to pay any fees for our working dogs, the hotels website clearly stated “service animals welcomed and are not subjected to fees”. The clerk called her manager who expressed they needed documentation that they were service animals, this is a violation of the HIPPA laws since the registrations shows what medical condition the animals service for, we complied anyways just so we could get into the room and get rest. The clerk was starting to check us in finally when my husband was trying to explain that this hotel was in the wrong, they are ignorant to the laws, and they really need to educate themselves on these laws and abide by their service animal policy, the clerk got upset and then stated she was refusing us service and called the police to have me and my husband escorted off of the premises and stated my husband was yelling and calling the clerk names. My husband was only trying to inform the clerk that she was ignorant to the laws that surround service animals and was trying to let her know that there are legal repercussions that can come from this. We are now having to sleep in our truck with our 3 dogs and have to be at work at 6am. I’ve never been treated so poorly and I will NEVER again stay at a Super 8 and am so disappointed in the customer service we were given!!! You DONT treat people this way!!"

"Convenient location. Fast, friendly front desk service. Updated room that was reasonably clean with a comfortable mattress and plenty of space to move around. Microwave and fridge in room. Hotel is older with some issues that reflect its age. Heater only worked on full blast so your options are very hot or no heat. Elevator was out of service. Location was good with plenty of services nearby. Pet friendly. Overall happy for this price point and for a last minute overnight stay."

"Room is dirty, service was rude, the breakfast should not even be offered. Extremely disappointing there was a waffle maker, individually packaged slices of bread and expired milk. Stayed there two weeks in the room was never cleaned. It is a convenient location though"

"We had low expectations after getting a really good rate on our room, so we were quite pleased with our overall stay. We were simply looking for a quiet night of rest with a decent shower and this place checked all the boxes. The room was larger than expected, the climate control worked well, the service was friendly and the breakfast, while nothing fancy, had enough basics to satisfy. We weren't planning on using the indoor pool but it was closed for maintenance, so you might want to call ahead to make sure it's open if that's part of your plans. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."
