Comfort Inn

"My wife and I stayed here for almost two weeks over the Christmas holidays while in the area visiting family. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Jasper and since it only takes about 5-10 minutes to get downtown it was perfect in my opinion. This appears to be a rather new hotel and was very well kept, staff was super friendly, the room was very nicely appointed, and the public areas were attractive and clean. The beds were comfortable and each bed had a selection of pillows depending on your sleeping needs. Breakfast was served each morning and during our stay it was scrambled eggs, biscuits (not homemade, just FYI), sausage links, sausage gravy, a variety of cereals, fruits, breads including muffins, bagels and bread for toasting, yogurts and waffles made to order. Beverages included water bottles, juice, milk, coffee and hot water for tea. The breakfast offerings were good, food had good taste and was always hot; it was not anything gourmet but more like what you would expect from a hotel breakfast and there were plenty of local places to eat at as well. I was disappointed with their coffee which was very weak, obviously who ever makes the coffee either doesn’t drink coffee or the coffee to water ratio is way off. They had plenty of options available and like I mentioned there were places to get a good cup of coffee like the Hardee’s up the street that was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future."

"Easy to find, beautiful landscaping, property decorated for Halloween. There was even a pumpkin spice waffle option for breakfast. Lemon water in the lobby was a huge hit with the kids. The pool water temperature was perfect. Dan, at the front desk, was amazing. He deserves a raise!"

"Where do I begin? Upon arriving I was not impressed with the concierge. They appeared messy and not fully prepared for work. Our rooms half cleaned. One of our rooms had bed bugs and another had hair, dirt, and stains on the mattress. Our visit was cut short. The room we had with the bed bugs (which the bug had laid a sac) was refunded but since every where else was booked part of our party left and traveled home. We requested for our other rooms to be refunded for the night, but were refused. We were not directed to the manager when asked. There was not one on duty. We where given a fake email and then told that there was no corporate number. By far our worst experience won't be back."

"Pleasantly surprised! The manager held the last room for me until I could arrive from across town. Was booked at a higher rated hotel only to be faced with moldy room upon check-in. A search for available rooms nearby brought up this hotel. Rooms were clean and maintained. I was concerned walls/doors would not be soundproof, but they were. No hallway noise into the room. Plenty of adjacent parking. Will definitely consider this chain in the future."
