"1998 my husband passed , he wanted to be cremated, at the time they were not even finished with the funeral home. But my husband was terminal and and I expected maybe 2 months at the most , if he had that long . I went in and talked to the staff and made arrangements. They assured me they would have a a visiting room and the chapel ready . They did , they came and picked his body up in a timely manner. AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FUNERAL HE HAD . "I'm not sure what we would have done without the help of Charter. My Dad passed away in 2004 with no life insurance. At the time, we only had one funeral home in the county that we lived in. Before Dad's passing I visited the funeral home in which was in our county. They were no help. They could not give specific prices for their services. After Dad's passing someone suggested Charter Funeral Home. There at Charter they had a brochure that listed pricing ie: embalming etc. We were able to rent a oak casket in which Dad was viewed in. After, the viewing Dad was cremated and we as a family were able to bury him out of state near his identical twin.
