"This is by far the WORST daycare my kids ever went to!!! I wouldn’t recommend this daycare to anybody!! Even If this was the LAST daycare on earth I would tell people to just stay at home with your kid. In the response to the comment: you know I had JUST had started my job. You guys still charged me while we was waiting on my CHANGE OF PROVIDER to be processed. Not the whole application. I had already been approved and you guys knew that. So EVERY DIME I HAD TO MY NAME I HAD TO GIVE TO YALL WHEN I GOT PAID! You guys couldn’t even understand that ! I rely on daycare in order for me to money some type of money. You was thirsty calling me EVERYDAY for a payment when I asked you can y’all just wait until I get my FIRST PAYCHECK! Y’all WASNT trying to hear that! You don’t understand it’s single mothers out here trying, that has no other help for babysitting so we DEPEND on daycares!! And I told you I had transportation problems! And told you to give me a minute to buy a new car!! You couldn’t understand that either. But I got a new one and that problem dropping her off ON TIME Was solved. Only twice I came to pick her up a little late because of a train and it took a lil longer when I purchased a car. BUT I ALWAYS COMMUNICATED. And the proper clothing part!??? LOL like I’m a deadbeat. One thing for sure my kids stay in proper attire .. yall tripped because when she first started there she came in her CROCS. And y’all made it a big deal. But clothes!??? NEVER. My kids have a billion more clothes then I do. Both their closets is full of clothes so please don’t act like I sent my child In whatever. I’m a mother before anything. But y’all don’t care about someone TRYING. All I was trying to do was WORK! People rather help bums on the street vs someone making a effort! & let’s not talk about that day y’all acted like her class was going on a field trip and y’all told me she had to stay home!! AND YALL KNEW I HAD TO WORK! HER CLASS WASN'T EVEN GOING ON A FIELD TRIP! Y’all just wanted me to loose my job, But it didn’t work. NEVER WILL. Gary is full of demonic people. I came there to work a 9-5 because my business was slow and I’m so glad it didn’t work out. I pulled her out myself And left Gary."

"Very Ghetto . Will harass you and try to put no trust passing charges on you . They are all family memebers so be careful they will do sneaky things with your kids . My son was getting beaten on and they would hide the videos"

"In response to the below review, Ms. Hobby, you sent both of your children to Elka. We loved, educated, and cared for your children while they were here. Unfortunately, we had to let you go as a client of ours. You never brought your child to school with the items she needed for potty training, and proper clothing for weather conditions. You also never brought her to school on time, nor picked her up on time. I hope you can understand why we had to part ways."

"I had a couple of god children going here. The preschool teacher was always making comments under her breath like "is it Friday yet". My God child was choked by a male peer with 2 teachers in the room that didn't see anything. Never let her go use the bathroom when she asked there for she was peeing on herself. Owner talks to people like they are beneath her. Some teachers were even accused of cursing at the children and hitting them. I definitely would NOT recommend this low class facility if you are in the area."

"I recently saw a group of Elka kids at a Valparaiso playground on a ninety degree day. These poor kids were sweating and begging for water. But guess what, the staff were sipping on their drinks, telling these poor kids they didn’t bring anything to drink. After seeing this, I would strongly consider using a different child care company."
