"The pool was closed and had been for over a week. They did not inform us until my daughters were in their suits and went down to swim. They gave us the option to go across the street to swim at a different hotel. The room smelled funky and was run down (bathroom door's paint was bubbling and scuffed off). The heater smelled like burnt plastic every time it ran. Bed lamps didn't work, bathroom fan didn't work, key cards didn't work several times. My baby could not use the highchair in the dining room because it was so caked in sticky food. I gave service 1 star bc with the issues that were brought to their attention, they just said sorry, no refund or fixing it in any way."

"My first and to be my only Hilton brand visit. Upon checking in I found the AC fan making a loud noise. I went to check to see if something was stuck in it and the unit face fell off. Also discovered the filter was was filthy. Bathroom curtain rod was broken. The bathtub leaked. Over all the room was run down, and dirty. Considering the cost, to say I was disappointed is being polite. The second room they switched us into was just as run down and dirty, at least the heater worked and had a clean filter. There are better hotels in the area for 1/3 the cost and in much cleaner condition. ( I checked out the next morning and checked into the Super 8 across the street, the cleanliness at Super 8 put the Hampton Inn to shame for 1/3 of the cost)"

"Nice and quiet. Located behind Golden nugget casino and across the street from dispensary! Friendly staff and clean rooms, they are on central time zone. Coffee was fresh in lobby at 5pm such a plus! We will return!"

"Had another great stay, thanks! This is a wonderful hotel, you simply won't be disappointed. Everything about it is great for it's price. The service here is among the best we've ever had at a Hampton. Highly recommended."

"We made the mistake of stopping at this hotel recently on a road trip from Virginia to Iowa. At roughly 8 PM in the evening, they did not have clean rooms. Apparently there were only two housekeeping staff on duty because we literally saw them as they came through the lobby with the cleaning cart and the linen tub. It was one of the most unprofessional situations I had seen in a very long time. I realize it is hard to get good help, but this was ridiculous. And it’s not the fault of the housekeeping people because if they did not have sufficient staff to clean the rooms throughout the entire day, then that is the fault of management. On top of that, the front desk clerk sat on her stool and had a ‘I don’t give an sh—‘ attitude that really turned us off. We went to the casino to grab a late dinner and finally they had available rooms for us on our return an hour later. I am a faithful Hampton Inn/Hilton customer. We reached out to Corporate with no response whatsoever. I even contacted the manager directly by email with literally no response or concern in an attempt to resolve this prior to posting a public review. The entire situation has made me question my loyalty to Hilton Hotels. I can’t imagine this one will be open a year from now."
