"When the location at One Chicago opened, it was great. The second floor eating area used to be much nicer and had lots of cozy places to sit. They took out the sofas years ago. The hot bar was better but it’s no longer very very exciting. The items are mediocre at best. Today I stopped in and they don’t even have the water dispenser working at the bar. I was told that while juggling the hot bar items I just bought and a cart, I had to walk all the way back to the bathroom and use the dispenser there. There’s not even place to put my hot bar items down while trying to fill a cup of water. I expect more from Whole Foods like better tasting hot bar options, a water dispenser in a convenient location and more of there more popular options at the deli counter."
"WF should be ashamed of their fresh lettuce selection. Consistently awful, bruised, dried out. A ploy to get us to spend $5+ on their extensive aisle of lettuce wrapped in single-use disposable plastic?"
"Been to a lot of Whole Foods. This is a great location. Great variety of food and selections. Also enjoy the cafe downstairs. Great seating area with multiple outlets and very spacious. The bar upstairs is great as well. Very convenient to the Red Line between State and Michigan. Also close to Loyola Downtown campus."
