"Had these guys do a pin and weld for me last year. It looked pretty bad but I was like whatever bc as long as it worked I was good with it. When I got home it turned out they had also removed the finish on the barrel pretty bad too and covered it with some stuff that just scraped off... I didn't worry about these things at the time because I was good as long as it worked and you couldn't see the messed up finish anyways. Well here we are a year later and the muzzle device has come loose despite being pinned and welded. After googling around a little, apparently this happens when they don't torque the device properly prior to pinning and welding. I'd highly recommend you use someone else if you are looking for something like this."

"Dewey has been working on my firearms since I moved to Huntsville in 2013. He gently restored an 03A3 Springfield for me that my father gave me. It had lost all origional finish and moistur got to it in the storage case. I was very concerned that nothing be done that would affect the accuracy of the rifle. I could not have been happier with the results. They totally disassembled the rifle, cleaned inspected and refinished everything. The rifle looked like new. The wood came out beautiful. The sight adjustment had not been that smooth in the 30 years we had the rifle. They are honest with times but what's worth doing well, is worth the wait."

"Dewey and Tim did great work on my rifle. It took longer than I was told, but the wait was worth it in the long run. They took a Remington 700 SPS factory rifle and made it a real shooter. I was able to shoot a 5 round group measuring right at .4" center to center. Was able to easily get hits at 550 yards in 10 mph winds. Buy a factory rifle and let them make into a shooter. The bolt is very smooth. I love that rifle, when I shoot through the current barrel I will absolutely bring it back to them for a re-barrel job. Thanks for the great work!"
