"I use to hate going to Pillbox to get my prescriptions, but now the new pharmacist and the staff are so nice. They are non-judgmental and treat everyone the same! I feel a sigh of relief when I go there now!"

"They started closing at noon on Saturdays which is fine but not when they roll the phones over 10+ mins early & then close the window with three minutes until closing. I had a prescription that was filled, already paid for (they have our HSA on file) & just waiting pickup. I arrived with 3 mins to spare & they had already closed the windows & rolled the phones over. I understand not wanting to take in a new prescription at that time but everyone who comes there isn’t coming with a new prescription in hand…there are a ton of people picking up refills, meds that were called in earlier, etc. All had to do was hand me my prescription but all of the windows were already closed & one of the employees was sitting in the parking lot in her vehicle just waiting (not sure why she was bothering to wait unless she was waiting until closing time to actually drive off???) LOL. I hope the owners see this so they can pull the DVR to see for themselves. I used to love getting my & my family’s prescriptions here but this past yr they’ve gone downhill & it’s a hassle to go there now. I miss all of the older employees that worked there for years. One of the new pharmacists actually called my husbands dr about refilling eye drops that was still within valid date. Why would you waste your time & make a customer wait while you verify a non-narcotic prescription that was still valid?? With all the calls they make you’d think they wouldn’t have time to close early. You already have very limited hours so if you’re going to start closing 2 hours earlier on Saturdays, at the very least keep the phones & windows open until the new closing time. I’m gradually moving my & my family’s prescriptions over to Publix pharmacy. They accept goodRX & there are times when I can get my prescriptions a few dollars cheaper then my copay if they run goodrx. They’re also really good about suggesting that if they know it’ll save $. Also if you get all your meds filled there they will fill your prescriptions while you wait instead of putting you in a long que like other pharmacies."

"I’ve always stuck with my main two pharmacies. Well, last month my normal pharmacy was out of my medication so I was told to try out this pharmacy. I waited 30 minutes to be told my insurance needed a pre-authorization. I felt that easily could have been told to me upon arrival. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for my medication and had to wait a week to get it filled. When I did pick up the medicine they asked me how many I get and asked if it was 75. I found that odd considering they are the pharmacist and they should be looking at what my dosage and count is. Then yesterday, after the pre authorization has been done and handled I was told that this months medicine was on hold. I was told I was early by two days because of how I had to wait a week past last month. I always try and take less of my medicine for situations like this so that I have some saved back for emergencies like these. However, I don’t understand how people who aren’t able to do that are able to get by with these strict guidelines. Instead of being rude and matching the judge mental energy of the counter lady I decided I would just call my doctor and go back to my other pharmacy. Everyone has different opinions and views on things. I just really value a place who is compassionate and not judgmental. If one rule applies to one person then it should apply to all. The doctor called the medicine in to the other pharmacy and they immediately had it filled and waiting for me when I arrived. They even gave me a complimentary water bottle for my troubles last month. This pharmacy is not the place if you want to feel valued and cared about. I never felt like I was in good hands here or being treated correctly."
