Greenvale Pediatrics - Hoover

"I'm not sure what is stopping the office manager or whoever from replacing all the front desk staff, but it is ridiculous that these ladies are still representing the company. My doctor (Dr Stone) is wonderful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. His assistant (Mrs. Lydia) and all the girls who have given shots are all nice to work with. The front desk staff is horrendous. I have just about decided that it is worth the hassle to move all my kids' info to another company just to not have to deal with them anymore. Recently, I was sitting in the waiting room listening to them loudly mock a parent they had just put on hold for some "stupid question" she was asking. They are curt, unprofessional, ironically impatient with children, and look at you like you're stupid. Also, every time you call, just expect to go straight to hold for 10 minutes before scheduling an appointment. (Because they only release their schedules like 2 months at a time, so you can't make your child's next appointment in office.) Seriously, don't think, "it won't be a big deal." It is a big deal, and it's awful."

"Let me start this by praising Dr. Carter and his team, they are fantastic and I recommend them to everyone! The only problem is to see the doctors you have to pass by the front desk. This is the WORST front desk personnel I’ve EVER experienced. I cannot overstate how rude and heartless they are. Children’s Hospital should clean house and hire people who care and treat people how they would want to be treated."

"Horrible front desk staff. So incredibly rude, but I see from some of the other reviews that I'm definitely not the first to express this. We had to be seen here instead of the Alabaster office (who are absolutely wonderful by the way), when my newborn was discharged from the hospital on a Friday. They were so incredibly rude. If I was a new first time mom, I would've been in tears from the way I was treated on top of being newly postpartum. The medical assistant was quite unpleasant as well. The doctor was okay, but she did almost drop my newborn. I just wouldn't recommend this location at all."

"Greenvale Pediatrics is the most amazing group of pediatricians! My daughter has been a Greenvale patient since her birth in 2014, and there is no where else I would dream of taking her! The staff at Greenvale does such an incredible job of making my daughter comfortable that she does not even get nervous when we have an appointment…whether it be a well visit or a sick visit. We started at the Alabaster office seeing Dr. Stewart and followed her to the Hoover office…that’s how much we love her! When Dr. Stewart has been out of office, we have loved every pediatrician we have seen at Greenvale! The nursing staff is top notch as well. I am so so grateful for Greenvale Pediatrics!!!"

Everything about Greenvale is top-notch. The facility is only a few years old, it’s part of the Children’s Hospital network which helps with referrals and communication, and the doctors are great. Dr. Anderson immediately felt like a family friend. He took the time to get to know and understand our son and that sort of attention to detail is hard to find and incredibly appreciated. We trust that our son will get the best medical care with Greenvale and Dr. Anderson. What a relief!"
