"Overall, I am appalled that a huge company like New Castle would be so unprofessional. The night we moved in we realized our master bathroom was not draining. My husband informed the builders immediately. The clog caused water to leak into parts of our kitchen and bedroom. Many inconveniences and errors later, we were sleeping in our living room for over a month. In a newly constructed house. We still had things in storage as we could not physically fit all of it into our house in the state. We had requested New Castle to pay for our storage as that is the absolute LEAST they can do for all these inconveniences. We got push back after pushback as to why they should not pay for our storage unit. It was $125 and that was just too much for this company to pay. In my honest opinion, we should be given more due to us buying a brand new home only to be living in our living room for over a month. It was just one thing after another. My husbands aunt was going to buy one of the houses they are currently constructing but after she saw all the issues we were having with the builders, she decided to go elsewhere. And I don’t blame her one bit. The overall process was ridiculous and a major headache. I don’t recommend New Castle to ANYONE. Though we are satisfied with our home now, I still would not recommend buying from New Castle for the fear of something similar happening to anyone else. The stress alone was too much. We decided to buy new construction to avoid all the hassles but ended up going through it anyways."
