Due to the nature of private practice vs university setting, it's extremely obvious the two doctors are desperate to earn money from excessive surgical procedures. Stay away. You've been warned. You can feel the desperation, as business is slow. Wonder why. Sick people."

"Three years ago John Young performed a meniscus surgery. At that time he presented very little explanation for options dealing with my issue. During each consultation I was rushed and his recollection of my surgery seemed vague and generalized. Each time I visited his office, on time, I was met with a complete lack of respect for my time. He was consistently over an hour late accommodating my appointment. Fast forward to today. I have been experiencing significant pain. I am limited by providers due to my health insurance network. I felt obligated to return to their office because of this. Over the phone, I was instructed to arrive 30 mins early for my appointment due to needing x-rays. I arrived at the recommended time, observed no one in the waiting room, and completed my X-rays within 15 mins. I was optimistic the office had resolved their scheduling shortcomings from my previous experience. However, I was seated in the waiting room only to be seen over an hour later! I excused myself from work to accommodate their request to come in early. When I asked if I had been forgotten I was met with a patronizing “awww I’m sorry”. When John Young did decide to begin his “exam” he basically spent the approximately 5 minutes in the room telling me a story of another patient with symptoms that were not consistent with mine. He followed this up with stating I needed an MRI. No mention of what could be the cause of my recurring knee pain. No mention of treatment. At one point, he even said that he “doesn’t see knees too much”. He speaks too quickly and close ended. Doesn’t listen to the patient and offered no apology for the lack of respect his office extended. If you have any option to use another facility or doctor I HIGHLY recommend it."
