"It must be a programming error or something but for some reason Google wont let me rate this barber shop SIX stars. Been local to Schererville for a few years and have been getting my hair cut at another proper barber shop for a bit and hadn't noticed Goodfellas had opened up nearby since I left the area for work. Couldn't get a chair at my regular on short notice so decided to give this spot a try. TL;DR: this is now my new barber shop. Website made it a breeze to select and book a service. Option to pay online will no doubt be convenient for some. The shop itself has the absolute correct look and vibe that a real barber shop should have and is coveniently located on the main street adding to the old school feel. Perfect blend of a modern and classic atmosphere. The hospitality and greeting right from entering was friendly and set the benchmark. Sal was precise in understanding exactly how I wanted my hair cut and delivered perfectly. 10/10. No notes nor critiques. I opted for The Don Special this time as I wanted to gauge fairly on the level of service and skill compared to other shops offering a similar experience. Goodfellas demonstrated a clear comprehension of how to deliver the best possible hair cut and grooming for men. I hadn't realized it was possible to elevate the hot towel shave further but I am a believer. Gentlemen: you owe it to yourselves to do this at least twice a year or perhaps quarterly in between your normal visits for just the haircut. I fully expect and hope that next time I am in town and due for a hair cut that this shop will be booked solid and I will have to wait a bit for a chair because the best things in life demand patience. Goodfellas Barbershop is definitely worth it."
