"When i called worrying about my childs well being they wouldnt answer the phone and wouldnt answer my medical questions instead they banned my child from any treatment and hung up the phone these people are to busy to care about your childs life Edit: doctor hall is not to blame its the jenifer girl that was rude on the phone when i was scared for my sons life she shut me down for "verbal abuse" when that is a natural reaction for being faced with rejection for care for my 6 month old baby who was having an alergic reaction that could have been life threatening when she finally called back an hour after my over the top voicemail she only asked me who my child was to ban him from this place and would answer my medical questions i was pleading for answers so i would know what to do next time i thought my sons life was in danger everyone who has interacted with us has been very kind except this receptionist"

"I took a 16 year old student athlete to her pediatrician explaining that she had upper respiratory symptoms a week before but was feeling better with the exception of a persistent shortness of breath with minimal exercise. We requested a Covid test but we’re worried about a reoccurring case of pneumonia as well. Her doctor told us that often times when young ladies have nonspecific symptoms it’s a “mental issue”. He told a concerned student athlete that wasn’t able to participate in her team’s practice that it might be in her head. I guess because she had a uterus. While Kids First may have the best and brightest medical minds from the 19th century we will be driving to New Albany for medical care in the future. The woman in the office who made disparaging remarks about wanting to be tested, we didn’t see her just heard her, also left a lasting impression on a worried young girl. As it turned out she wasn’t a hysterical girl, she did have Covid."

"Every doctor I have brought my sons to does an incredible job. They are patient with my elders who is terrified of the doctor’s office. They are typically able to get us in quickly when sick (with the exception of peak covid/flu time when everywhere was booked out for days)."

"I am a first time mom, with a three month old. My son has only been sick twice, and both times they can never get him in. Dr Norton is great, but the receptionist are rude. When I call to schedule an appointment they didn't even ask who I was or what was wrong with my son. They just told me they were booked up for days and that I needed to take him to the urgent care. I understand they might have some sicker children, but not to even ask symptoms so they could guide me in the direction I need. The receptionist also are very rude in office. They are always having personal conversations and will not pull their attention to you till it's convenient for them. We will be finding a new office, due to the office staff (not the Drs)!"

"We will be switching pediatricians not because of Dr. Norton but the “nurse” who gave my son his shots. I have heard there is a nurse at this office who is very rude and out of line, we had not encountered her until today. She was extremely rude to both me and my 16 month old son. He was very distraught to even be at the dr office and she was anything but comforting to him while giving him his shots. Usually the nurses are friendly and talk to him and try to make him feel better.. As a first time young mom I was unaware he was behind on shots and felt guilty the first time she bluntly told me it was my fault he was getting 5 shots today. She made me feel worse by the tone of her voice and while giving him the shots told my son that he better come in on time and he wouldn’t have to get so many. Clearly that bothers me because he’s a baby, after her saying it 4 times I decided we would not be back. She could have kindly told me to set a reminder or given me a pamphlet that tells me when he would be up for his next shots, this is not something I’m familiar with. I guess I will now take it upon myself to look into this but we will still not be returning to this office. A suggestion to this office would be reminders of shots for busy parents or first time mothers."
