"This was my first time coming in and I must say I am so thankful for the service I received today! My mouth needs a lot of work but they didn’t judge me that just gave me the plan to make it better! The atmosphere was nice and I am ready to finally not be afraid because they made me feel at home! Thanks Banks Dental group! I look forward to working with you all! It saddens me that I have to add to this first review with a follow up from today as I went to get 4 teeth pull. I want to be truthful my mouth needs a lot of serious work done to it and I felt sure I had found some where that I can finally feel comfortable to get all of the work done. I truly love the staff they are the best around and I even think Mr. Banks is generally nice but I didn’t have a good experience because I got my mouth numbed by Mr. Banks and then he left for an hour to see other patience so of course I’m already nervous from having bad experiences with other dentist . Waiting didn’t help my situation of nervousness. Once he came back in to see me he kind of made a remark as though he forgot I was in the room which I was really nervous. So he numbed me a bit more because I told him it may have worn off a bit. As he started the work I begin to tense up pretty bad and it was the way he said “Listen imma need you to stop tensing up or I can’t help you I don’t want to slice your tongue trying to do this procedure so stop moving because this is a serious procedure.” I told him that I don’t think I was numbed enough because I could feel the actual pain and he went on to say no that is just pressure but I told him no I feel pain and he went on and on about stop moving I can’t do this you need to go to a oral surgeon and pay whatever they charged. I kept saying I was sorry because I did feel bad about constantly moving but I couldn’t help it and him being unsupportive really made it worst. He did say no problem and that I was doing good at one point but I just didn’t like how he made me feel it was like he had no empathy as other reviews said he did. Then when I left out blood was still on the side of my face and ear they allowed me to leave like that instead of getting it off. That really rubbed me the wrong way and I paid in advanced which was my own choice for 4 teeth to be removed but since I only ended up getting 2 done but no one said if I would be refunded. I don’t want to bash this dental office because they seemed really nice but my experience was horrible this particular visit. I pray that the stitches he gave heals properly because I’m sure after this review they will not want me back for a check up on how it’s healing."
