"Dr. Thompson saved my teeth and my sanity! In 2007, I became a patient of the current Dr. Thompson's father. I have great memories of his office from late high school through college; he was always friendly and welcoming, as was his whole staff, and he even danced a jig and sang a song when I brought a musical script to my appointment. He was an amazing guy! Fast-forward more than 10 years to spooky season 2022 in Dallas, Texas. My bonded retainer gave up the ghost to the immense sticky power of a Sugar Daddy caramel candy. I searched frantically for an orthodontist who could fix and/or replace my bonded retainer and, after a few failed consultations with doctors claiming they were unfamiliar with such hardware, found a practice that claimed they could take care of me. Extremely long story short: those people were dishonest and incompetent. I suffered discomfort, pain, and anxiety for 6+ months before I saw them again. As I sat in their chair begging them to fix their terrible work, I resolved to call my childhood orthodontist. So I did, and I walked out of that awful office. I flew home to Indiana in October 2023 (one year after the initial Sugar Daddy incident) specifically to have Dr. Thompson fix my teeth. I was SHOCKED to meet the young Dr. Thompson!!! I had expected his father. However, Dr. Thompson immediately put me at ease. He's so gentle and personable. His staff is kind and friendly. They listened to the full narrative of my nightmare of a Dallas orthodontist experience. They marveled at the poor quality of the work, the inappropriate hardware in my mouth, and the cost of such inept service. Should I need any orthodontic care in the future, I would gladly make the trip of 1000+ miles again just to get premium, affordable care from a person (and office) I trust."
