"I had a lot of pain on my side, I went here because of it as I had went unconscious from it at work. I got here and the nurse told me I had to wait on the doctor to wake up from his nap (I wish I was joking but I am not) after I got scanned. I waited 6 hours before anyone came back to me. Finally the doctor came in after his nap around 4 in the morning and was actually concerned because I had a 6ml kidney stone that needed further inspection. I had already passed it, just right before he came in to tell me I needed to go to Mobile to potentially get it crushed if it didn’t pass. I would have thought I would be given something to atleast stop the throwing up, but I wasn’t. I felt like I was bothering the staff for simply being there. I wouldn’t have went if I wasn’t hurting because I don’t have the money to spend on emergency situations."

"The staff here are very rude. They talk to you like your a child and the Dr that wears the same sweater day in and day out doesn't even listen to understand he listens to answer. He said my blood work was off and wouldn't tell me anything else...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IN ALL AREAS. DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOUR PRACTICING!! Not once but twice i was giving something I was allergic too!!! Blood pressure was 209/103 from pain.. couldn't even pain medication"

"I went to the Jackson Urgent Care over 1 1/2 years ago to get a shot to clear up a head cold. The nurse practitioner wanted to send me to the hospital to be tested for the flu. I told her I didnt have the flu and she then told me that she couldn't treat me. So I left and drove an hour to see my doctor who treated me and I was better within days. Now a year and half later I get a bill from them for an office visit. I called the urgent care center and explained what happened and her response was if I didnt pay it she was turning me over to collections. I tried to call the hospital administrator for over a week now and left messages for her to call me back but no response. I dont think I should have to pay the bill when the nurse practitioner point blank told me she couldn't treat me. But anyway it's not about the money but more of the principle. I will not be going back or referring anyone to either locating."

"I’ve had multiple family members sent home with no help or misdiagnosed. To name a few: one was sent home bleeding internally (and almost died, might I add), another had pneumonia pretty bad and was sent home just for it to get worse (ended up in ICU in Mobile), another was told they had COPD (not the case; something much worse), and lastly my own child was misdiagnosed with staph (turned out to be what I initially thought it was; nothing life threatening thank God). These are just MY experiences. Most of the staff is pretty friendly and good to people, but I can’t say the same about all of the doctors. I understand hospitals have to see patients to make money, but you don’t put the quantity of patients you see over the quality of care you give."
