"Cautionary Note: Although I typically refrain from providing feedback on beauty services that don't meet expectations, my recent experience at this salon compels me to share my thoughts. Despite the great customer service, facility, and pricing, I feel it necessary to express my disappointment. I would like to believe that what happened during my visit might have been a miscommunication or a variance in expectations regarding contemporary eyebrow styles. The stylist and I are both young women, which also made me think the situaiton was strange. I have relatively thin eyebrows with sparse sections near the tails, and after two years of growth, I usually only seek a bit of shaping and cleanup during my salon visits. I made this clear to the threading professional. My preferred eyebrow style is modern, steering clear of the hooked look or anything reminiscent of 90s and early 2000s trends. I saw the salon was brand new, and I was in the area so I thought I'd check it out. The threading session seemed to take longer than usual, and once she was done, she had me look in the mirror, and then I was left utterly speechless. My brows were left less than 0.5cm thick, with uneven and hooked shapes, and the tails practically missing. The stylist also used fine scissors, removing a significant portion from the beginning of my brows. Completely shocked, I paid and left immediately, screaming internally. I am genuinely horrified by what just happened. When I don't have my brows filled in, they look basically missing, like they have been shaved off. And I cannot say this enough, I did not come in with anything resembling the shape or thinness she gave me. My brows were easily almost a full cm thick. Not to mention, I starting a job where I cannot wear makeup, therefore I have to walk around basically with no eyebrows. SCALPED is all I can say. Its honestly depressing. Like I said, this woman was very nice and sweet, I don't know what happened here. If you go, please make sure she knows what you want, be very clear. I would attach pictures but I am too embarrassed."
