"Very underwhelming to say the least. There was no water running through the Japanese garden, barely any roses in the Irish garden. Almost everything seemed like it was dead or dying. The conservatory closed at 5, unlike the rest of the park which closed at 6. So I got there at 5:30 and was unable to visit because doors were locked even though there were still people inside. Kids had carved their names in the bamboo and aloe plants which was heartbreaking to see. It looked as if the garden had been neglected for years. I also noticed all the good reviews on here are from 5+ years ago. I understand that it was free, but maybe charge a small admission fee to help with the upkeep. All in all this was a totally bust compared to the many other botanical gardens I have visited across the country. The best part was seeing the koi fish and the turtles in the small pond that had some water. Save your time."

"This is NOT the Birmingham Botanical Gardens! This is a tiny housing subdivision next to the Gardens. You probably don't want to review it."

"Beautiful. Free. Always clean and pleasant to visit. Great place for pictures or a walk. The restaurant isn't bad either!"
