Embassy Suites by Hilton Huntsville

"My wife and I always enjoy our stats at Hilton properties. We are particularly fond of Embassy Suites. As always the room was clean and filled with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the omelets that were prepared by Stanley."

"I honestly wish I could leave zero stars. I stayed for business and they resold my colleagues rooms without any notification of doing so because they checked in late; the rooms had been prepaid for and many visitors were there for the exact conference we were working, that had been planned for months. Three floors were under construction while we were there and construction noises were heard every day from 7am-7pm, sometimes even later. The shuttle driver told me they no longer offer airport pickups because they assume most travelers don’t want to stay during renovations that have been going on for more than 4 months, yet they didn’t give any of us as guests, a heads up that these renovations would be happening during our stay. The renovations weren’t even hidden from view; if you happened upon one of those floors on the elevator, the doors would open up to constructions tools and waste everywhere. My shower, although it looked renovated, would fill up with water within 5 minutes and almost flooded my bathroom every time I tried to shower. During our stay, the coffee shop/convenience store attached was closing down and this location is a minimum half mile walk to a DGX (the only convenient store around—coffee shops were over a mile away); there is nothing around it except an overpriced taco restaurant. After all this, myself and multiple colleagues were charged parking fees, although none of us drove or parked there. When we called the hotel to speak about this matter, they transferred us to numbers to leave a message and no one would speak to us about this matter. When we called this location back, they no longer answered our calls and refused to speak to us, nor help us to reverse these false charges. I then went to Hilton Honors for help and the agents were very rude and left me on hold simply so they could call this location about the matter since they refused to speak to us or help us. Apparently they are refunding these finalized charges through our banks, but they refuse to give us a refund receipt nor confirmation number of the refund and say it can take 7-10 business days. At the end of this support call, they said I was getting extra Hilton points for this issue, when in fact they sent me to a timeshare salesperson. I have lost all trust and respect for the Hilton brand and no longer want to stay at any of their locations. I cannot believe they would treat anyone this way."

"The review is strictly for Antoinette A. She’s nothing short of a blessing. She was able to get us everything that we needed that other directors and manger could not. She helped us out after it was a struggle to keep our accommodations that we booked 8 months in advance. She was so polite and kind. Throughout the entire process she was the only person that extended us top tier level of customer service. I truly believe that she deserves all the recognition for helping keep our program happy as we stayed at the hotel for the weekend."

"From check in til check out we had a wonderful experience. Antoinette at the front desk was wonderful and the breakfast Sunday morning 12/31, was awesome. The room was clean and beautiful and beds were comfy! The party Sunday evening was great , and food was a hit with our friends ! We counted down to the new year and we will definitely be back!"

"I know I’m a bit late with this review but I don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to give this hotel their praise. The only disappointment was that I only got to stay here for 1 night as I was just passing through town briefly. This hotel was great! Service was very professional and friendly. My room was clean. The breakfast was delicious had plenty of variety to choose from. Several people here have mentioned the carpet in the rooms. I can confirm that during my stay here (late November 2023) they had already began remodeling, so that shouldn’t be an issue any longer. If I travel to Huntsville again I will definitely stay here again. Thank you all."
