"We Love the taste and texture of the frosting and the cream in and on these Longjohns, but the dough is not “yeasty” and “tender”. It’s firmer than the doughnuts of yesteryear were. “Yeast” renders donuts extremely soft and tasty as were the donuts of my youth. Yeasty donuts would literally collapse whenever you’d bite into them! I’m sure Yeast Doughnuts are more time con-suming and that’s probably why they’re (as scarce as hens’ teeth) these days… but, as expensive as they are, no matter where you buy them, they should have more Yeast in them, because consumers are certainly paying for that quality, when they purchase them, anywhere! With that said… These are among the the best, that are available in this area."

"Their donuts are great. He there early. They run out quickly. Part of me thinks they should make more donuts. Part of me thinks it's cool that they don't waste so much. There are never enough jellie donuts. My kids are big fans. I can never buy enough."

"Every time we try to go here, they are always sold out. They started closing at 10 AM because they sell out so often, but the picture below was taken just before 9 AM. I’ve never been to a donut shop in my travels that closes at 10 AM. I appreciate that they are so popular that they sell out regularly, but it seems like they should make more donuts and hire more employees who will work after 10 AM instead of turning away customers. They seem complacent and unwilling to make a change in order to better serve their customers."
