"I was very apprehensive because of another Days Inn we had stayed at in Shorty's Al...but I must say this Days Inn was very nice. Excellent hot breakfast. They even have bedbug protective mattress covers on their very comfortable bed. Will stay there again if we are ever in that area."
"Wife and I were visiting the area, stayed here and was very pleasantly surprised. The room itself was very clean and supplied with everything that was needed. The hotel was very accommodating for us, they switched out room with no problem. The front desk employee was extremely friendly and respectful. The only issues we had, just some small ones, the shower needed a little fixing, the seal on the front door was coming apart so there was a slight draft and it didn't muffle outside noise as well as it could have. Also the pillows could have been a little firmer. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we would definitely stay here again."
"The bullet proof glass in the lobby in front of the cashier is a pretty good giveaway that you have ventured into the wrong neighborhood. The homeless couple camping in the grass behind it was another sign. However, the room was nice. This is a fisherman's hotel and serves them well. I had to go back twice to get the room key to work, and by then I just gave up as we had one that worked."
"Fisherman, just wanted to let you know first point the room was clean. The maid service was great. The breakfast was wonderful. All that being said, they had no care for the needs of a person towing a boat. They wouldn't let you try to hang on to a space that you could get your boat in and out in the mornings. They said they didn't have reserved parking. They wouldn't let you put cones up. They took mine away. There was very few areas you could park and get straight out of a parking space. And if you didn't have the space next to your boat, then it would almost be impossible to get hitched up. They said that fishermen were a problem because they wanted to park near their room and tried to save a couple spaces together. And one of the clerks is very vindictive and had a very bad attitude. I was surprised at their attitude towards our needs to park."
"It appears this property was recently renovated. Service was great, the rooms very nice and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and I like the idea of no carpet on the floor. If ever back in the area, would certainly stay here again."
