Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"I usually go to the Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville, IN about once or twice a week for lunch. I work close by, and they are convenient, quick, and the food is always good. Everyone is very pleasant and nice, and the restaurant is well kept and clean. The food is always good too. I get the spicy, grilled catfish with broccoli casserole and fried apples. I’ve tried many different menu items, but the spicy, grilled catfish is my favorite, and it’s more healthier than some of their other options. For my drink, I get mixed berry tea, which always amazing. I never have any issues with my dish, and it always comes out hot and fresh. No complaints from me. The food is always consistent and tasty."

"Where do I begin? I love Cracker Barrel ( not as much since they removed the haddock- TOTALLY upsetting), but tonight was rare. I was not happy. It wasn't busy. It was freezing inside! Actually went to car to get a jacket AND a freaking blanket! Bbbbrrrrr The food finally arrived and was BARELY WARM. The plate was barely warm. I think the order wasn't picked up or forgotten or whatever. The biscuits were brought out with food and were warm. ( but didn't get the apple butter or honey requested). The plated food was BARELY WARM! The person who brought out the food wasn't our waitress. She asked if we needed anything else. We said steak sauce and ketchup. They never came. We asked our waitress. She brought the honey and steak sauce. I was eating quickly to avoid a completely cold dinner. I am VERY disappointed! WAIT! THERES MORE! We just got the check. We were charged for 2 sweet teas ( I got water) and an extra charge for the apple butter that we didn't receive. WOW! Do not think I'll be back to the Shelbyville Cracker Barrel!"

"Service was awesome and the restaurant was very clean and well put together. Bless it, I don't think it's their fault that the food was bad but man there was a real lack of seasoning on EVERYTHING. I have never in my life been to a cracker barrel and not loved the food but there's a first time for everything. I will say that they serve alcohol and that blew my mind because we don't have that back home and the peach mimosa is literally the best thing I tasted at that table. 10/10 on the drinks!"

"My Young Beautiful Bride and I visited the Cracker Barrel, North of Shelbyville on HWY 9. We absolutely enjoy visiting many different places in our travels but this is a favorite. The waitress is constantly attentive and respectful, the food is perfectly prepared and delicious. We have never had a problem or complaint with any Cracker Barrel and we will definitely be visiting this place in the future."
