"Great place to catch up with friends. My favorite time to go is on weekday mornings. They have the best handpies. I also always find a new game to add to collection. The latest was a new chess set."
"I genuinely love Hitherto. I love the opportunity to try many games before purchasing something and have done a lot of holiday shopping there over the years. The food and beverages are delicious! My only genuine complaint is that I would love more gluten-free and lower-sugar options. I like the concept and layout of the store but I was extremely frustrated this Friday evening when I stopped in with friends. Every single table in the establishment had a "Reserved" sign on it. There wasn't even a spot to stand and enjoy our beverages. So we weren't able to check out any of the games. After consuming our snacks & drinks in the car, we opted NOT to go back in and browse the merchandise in the crowded retail area. I understand that they were busy, and the tables might have all been occupied without reservations; however, it was busy and several tables were empty, but reserved. I would love to see this incredible, beloved local hot-spot continue to thrive, but perhaps they should expand and/or revise their reservation practices so that more spontaneous patrons like myself could truly enjoy what they have to offer."
"My family loves to go into Hitherto at least once every couple weeks if not every week. The staff is awesome and the owner is great. If you like games, coffee, and tea this is a must to stop in. The food is also wonderful with an outstanding selection of boardgames and card games."
