"Friendly welcome, great product, knowledgeable staff. Two seating areas for chatting, knitting and classes, and will wind your yarn purchase upon request. There was a steady flow of customers while we were there, including some humans checking in to see about beginner knitting classes which they currently have on Mondays. Even a friendly doggo was welcomed in! The yarn shop I'd love to have in my own town so I could become a regular"

We were greeted warmly by Katie and a local customer and were amazed at the variety of beautiful yarns and amount of knitting needles and accessories. We bought many skeins that Katie wound for us. The cozy chairs and couch added to the charm of this gem."
"I visited Village Yarn on my trip to Indianapolis. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the store was well stocked with a variety of yarn. I would definitely go back when I visit Indianapolis again!! We enjoyed the sheep toilet paper roll in the bathroom! We went on a Monday afternoon and were the only group in the store. The person working greeted us, answered my questions about local yarn, and was very friendly to chat with us. Village Yarn has a good variety of higher end and more affordable yarn. Malabrigo and Berocco were two brands I saw a lot of. They had a mix of sock yarn, thicker animal fiber yarn, and cotton and cotton-blend yarns. Thank you, Village Yarn!"
