French Lick Winery

"I deleted my 4 year old 5 star review to make this one. I say with absolutely zero hyperbole that I've never been to a worse wine tasting. It took very little time to find a spot at the bar. The lady told us it would be a moment before she could get with us, which was totally understandable. It went down hill from there. It is hard to keep track of everything that went wrong, but I'll try: - The "moment" that it took to clean the bar for our group turned into at least 15 minutes. - A girl in our group did a distillery tasting, which apparently made me fair game to be made fun of for doing a wine tasting. I can't fathom working at a winery and making fun of my clientele for drinking wine. - Our group was consistently passed over while the lady gave a couple that got there after us a distillery tasting. They would get a couple drinks for each one we got. I am not sure why. All in all, it then took over an hour to get through our tasting. After an hour of rudeness and being ignored, we didn't even buy any bottles - which we definitely would've done. It was a huge waste of time."

"Went with family and Mo was awesome. She told us a ton of information about the area and things to do. My parents enjoyed the wine and spirits tasting. We went while waiting to check in at out hotel and it was definitely worth the trip!"

"We were at the winery on Saturday for our annual guys weekend trip. Della was the person who gave us our tastings and she was awesome. She was knowledgeable, funny, and joked around with us. We definitely purchased more wine than we originally planned because of Della. She was great and we can't wait to see her next year."

"The tasting is SO reasonably priced and the woman assisting us took our wine order and made a case for us which had a decent 16% discount. We decided the atmosphere was so nice that we'd enjoy lunch here. Our friends had the fried ravioli and spaghetti which looked fantastic but the burgers were exceptional and build your own with an option for fried egg and bacon! The surprise factor was the adorable bun stamp which did give the slightly toasted bun not just decadent but fun. Don't let outer appearances steer you away because the inside is so classy but with a relaxed menu. Recommended!!!"

"A very welcoming and cozy winery/distillery. The owner greeted us at the door and explained everything they have to offer including dining. I was quite surprised by their excellent wine, bourbon selection, which includes tastings if you would so choose. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the French Lick area."
