"After not going to this location for quite some time, I tried it again yesterday. Big mistake. The cashier was very friendly, and he made sure I got condiments requested. BUT... The food was awful! It tasted like it had been thrown back on the fryer to be heated as to be presented as hot and fresh. Both the fish and chicken were very dry and hard, and I couldn't even eat it. The fries were no better. Waste of $15 for my one meal. Couldn't even eat the product. Do better LJS!"

"It has been years since my wife and I have last seen or stopped at a Long John Silvers, until we noticed this location on Highway 231 in front of the Wall Mart Supercenter in Jasper after visiting my wife's sister in a nursing home in Jasper. We were not hungry but had to stop out of nostalgia. Back when we were dating for years ago we would stop at the old LJS on the other side of the road that had been a Japanese steak house for many years. It was always a splurge to stop, so we hanged many fond memories from those days back in the early eighties. The restaurant is new and very urban looking. It is also very clean and organized with lots a seating and a clean comfortable dining room. The staff were amazing, meeting us at the counter, welcoming us and providing the time and informing we needed to make our selections. The menu had a consistent feel so we went with the same meal we used to order thirty five years ago. The food was brought to our table quickly with both orders complete. Pure perfection!"
