"This guys are a joke, I called to get a torque converter for my car. They said it should be available for pick next Tuesday, I waited for their call Tuesday to go pick up my part, never heard of them then I waited till Friday and called their phone number was busy so I waited till the week after and Called them and when someone picked up the phone. They were were confused and the never ordered the part. My mechanic is waiting for the part patiently. It cost me money and time. These guys are not professional at all. Bunch of clown."

"Poor customer service! Don't buy anything from these people! We had a NEW transmission installed by a reputable local shop, he purchased the transmission from Transtar. My wife took the car to North Carolina today and the transmission went out. It only had 1700 miles on it!!!!! I understand that sometimes things happen, but when they were called they said that they would only pay up to $500 for the installation! Where can you get a transmission installed for $500???? We even purchased the extended 36 month 100k mile warranty. This transmission didn't even last 1 oil change!!!! Transtar should pay 100 percent of repairs! We just spent 3k to have this transmission replaced and we expected to get more than 1700 miles. They were also rude to my wife on the phone. If they end up making this right, I will update this review."
