"Pro tip: there’s a parking lot (and accessible entrance) behind the building. This is a wonderful addition to the Carmel coffee scene! Located at the new North End development, Indie Coffee Roasters and Le Petit Gateau share a lovely space. There are many different seating areas to socialize, work, and relax. The coffee is fantastic and the baristas are welcoming. Their menu is more of a curated selections list. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, be sure to ask. My order is a mocha, which is not on their menu but they can readily make. I highly recommend stopping in to grab a coffee and a croissant."
"Excellent, warm service. Loved enjoying a ham and cheese croissant from the patisserie just steps away. Perfect atmosphere for studying and getting work done. Coffee is stellar; highly recommend buying beans if you have a home setup. I'll be back soon."
"The atmosphere is okay if you're into a cold, industrial feeling environment. But the menu is pretty useless (doesn't list things like milk options, decaf or regular, etc) and the staff we interacted with wasn't very friendly or helpful. We of course may have been there at a bad time, but with so many other local options available, I don't think we'll be going again."
"Overall, a great addition to the Indie Coffee locations! If I had one complaint, it's that the space is pretty 'live'. A bit more echo than I'd prefer in a beautiful warm space like this. But the important parts, which are great service, friendly baristas, and great coffee are on display as always. Love ICR when I visit (Indy is my hometown), and having a bakery in the same lobby is very cool. Nice addition to the fam!"
