About the Business
Downtown Delights is a family-friendly self-serve frozen yogurt shop located at 702 Lincolnway in La Porte, Indiana. Our hours are Sunday – Friday from 2pm – 8pm and Saturday from 11am – 8pm. We offer delicious, premium frozen yogurt made with the finest natural ingredients. Our shop was built by three generations of women with a mission to create a gathering place for families and friends in the heart of LaPorte.
Our home is in a 160-year-old building at the corner of Lincolnway and Monroe street, where we host community events such as farmer’s markets, holiday cookie walks, and music festivals. We offer a variety of frozen yogurt flavors with assorted toppings, as well as dairy-free options like pineapple dole whip. Our smoothies are all-natural, dairy-free, and vegan, packed with antioxidants and vitamins.
At Downtown Delights, we strive to support our community through partnerships like Give Back Night, where we donate 15% of sales to organizations in need. We believe in making our community the best place to live, work, play, and dine. Come visit us and enjoy a taste of summer with our delicious frozen treats!

"Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The yogurt was fresh and the employee working was kind. I did not see any prices about dollars to weight, so we were a bit shocked at the high price when checking out. The price by weight should be more apparent as I feel it's misleading and/or barely visible in the store- we looked around and couldn't find it."

"When it comes to ice cream I have an indecision problem. Here I could sample quite a few flavors for less than $6. All of them great. Staff is also wonderful. Must do!"
