"Rude associate accused me of theft I was returning 7 items (surplus left over after a DIY project) The refund the associate gave me was $10 short, so of course I mentioned that. She went to the cart & brought the returned items back to the counter. While pointing at my receipt, she went down line by line & said all 6 items were refunded. I told her there were 7 items, just like there were 7 items now in front of us on the counter! She then insinuated that I must've stolen one of the items because the 7th item wasn't listed on the receipt, so 'obviously you didn't scan it & just put it in your shopping bag.' I then pointed to the 7th item on the receipt to show her it was scanned. I asked her why she refunded only 6 items, but kept the 7th item regardless of not refunding it. She literally told me it was because I didn't pay for it! She did NOT like being corrected & had a horrible attitude, even tho I was being polite. My patience was waivering! The reason why she could not find the item on the receipt was because it was ALMOST identical to another item. There was a slight color variance, so it had a different SKU number. That's common when alike merchandise comes in a variety of colors. Walmart associates KNOW this! Had she actually scanned the item, instead of guessing, it would have gone thru fine, but she didn't try to scan it. Begrudgingly, she handed me $10, then walked away without a word. As she left, another associate approached, and I told the new girl the other lady was rude & accused me of stealing bcuz she made a mistake. I said she didn't apologize or anything. The new girl called the other woman's name, and she came back over. I told her I felt it was impolite to accuse me of theft, find out you're incorrect & walk away without a word. She said she fixed it & gave me the money back, then very sarcastically said, "I'm sorry you're having a bad day!" I laughed at her ridiculousness & told her that I wasn't having a bad day, that I was in a perfectly good mood, and in fact, I was having a lovely day. Then I left without engaging her anymore. This is only one of the many incidents that have happened to me at this Walmart, and the problems are ALWAYS with associates. ."

"Got and oil change and tire rotation. I was greeted immediately. They give you a barcode to track your service. Was finished within time they said it would be, actually quicker. Great Price. I will be back."

"I bought these little cups of flan a week or so ago. Me and my husband ate a whole 4 pack thought they tasted funny. Then I go to get one from another 4 pack bc we bought a few. This 4 pack I’ve already eaten on from. Then noticed when I went to get another the outside of the cups have mold all over them. I look and it says best by JULY 2023. JULY. The other packs we got say best by 2024. We grabbed them all from the front. Walmart is notorious for having very expired product on the shelves. All those employees you have standing around the doors doing nothing when we need them on registers. Maybe you should have them check your products expiration dates instead."

"This location is always out of the items I go there to buy. Long lines in the self checkout due to one person always working solo. Today the police were there giving an older woman a hard time for not ringing in the water on the bottom of her cart yet she wasn't finished checking out yet. She was confused and had no idea what they were talking about. The shelf in the chip isle is broken. They restock the rice cakes on the bottom shelf and rest the broken shelf on the cakes. This smashes all the rice cakes in the pack which is almost $4 now. I've been buying crumbled rice cakes for 6-8 months now. (I buy lot's of them) I have reported the broken shelf and showed the broken cakes to management several times. They are definitely not interested in helping fix the problem. About three weeks ago I used bungee cords to help hold up the shelf so my rice cakes wouldn't be broken. I'm happy I temporarily fixed the problem but shame on Walmart management and all the chip vendors that come in every day and still see the broken shelf for over half a year. They can't see the broken shelf so it doesn't surprise me they can't see how dirty this location has become. I like the lower prices but I think it's about time for me to start shopping at the local Kroger again. Maintenance F Cleanliness F Management F Chip vendors F Martinsville Walmart ⭐"
