"Poor customer service, really dropped the ball. We ordered 3 roast beef sandwiches by phone for carry out, specifying the meat and toppings on the phone twice. We stopped in to pick up the sandwiches after 10 minutes, paid, and drove home to open completely different ~salami~ sandwiches that were missing all the toppings. Been long time customers for decades, but after a poor customer service experience where they told us to bring the sandwiches back tomorrow as proof to remake them? we will not be returning. Unfortunately the quality has gone down. Check your sandwiches before you leave !!"
"Food never disappoints. However, dear ownership, WHY, PRAYTELL, can I not order dinner from your establishment at 6:23 pm??? Is it SO important that your employees walk out the door at exactly 7 pm? GRRRR! I want a Steelworker and some chili!"
"This place never disappoints. My favorite is the bunny girl. My husband orders the Lincoln lover and never veers. But if you are ever in the mood for cheesy bread, I highly recommend the bosco stix. They are hot and fresh everytime. I can not say enough good things about this entire menu... My only wish is that I could duplicate and make their ranch dressing. Yum!"
"I've been going back and forth on rating this place. The "kids" (late teens, early 20s) were great. I would be happy to have any of them work for me. The atmosphere was fine, it was clean, the menu signs were understandable, all that you need from a place, no complaints. The food was simply ok. I had heard a lot about this place, that it was outstanding. It wasn't bad but it wasn't outstanding. If somebody else wanted to go there I wouldn't talk then out of it, I would give it another try but it really didn't do anything for us to make us want to go back there. Just middle of the road."
"This location the food was still excellent. The employee working on Friday September 22nd just before closing time. He was extremely rude, when asked for horseradish for the pork tenderloin, he said no, then asked for hot dog, they were out, then asked for polish sausage, they were out, when advised they're not doing very well, the employee said this isn't my store and he doesn't run the store in an extremely rude way. When we come back to Indiana, we will never come to this store again just because of this experience. We will frequent the Hobart location. I am a customer service expert and I would never treat a customer in this way."
