"I had a delightful lunch experience at Café el Mesón. The café exudes a cozy home restaurant vibe, and discovering additional seating on the second floor was a pleasant surprise. I tried the El Jibarito Chicken Sandwich, featuring grilled chicken, pepper Jack cheese, tomato, red onion, avocado sauce, and Chipotle sauce between smashed plantains. The plantains held up well, and the flavorful chicken paired perfectly with the Chipotle sauce. The plate included a generous serving of delicious arroz con gandules. The Don Diego Chicken Sandwich on Foccacia bread was a taste sensation, with grilled chicken, pepper Jack cheese, spinach, red onion, tomato, avocado, mayo, and garlic sauce on soft Foccacia buns. The flavors harmonized beautifully. For drinks, the Agua Fresca Parcha (maracuya) was refreshingly fresh, and the Peppermint White Mocha Latte added a delightful touch to the overall experience. A truly enjoyable culinary adventure with a welcoming atmosphere."
"My sister treated me to lunch today. This place is hands down the best in the neighborhood. The owner and staff are very welcoming. The food is 10/10. Run and order an oatmeal frappe. Since the food was good I placed an order to go. The ladies did an awesome job. I highly recommend and I'll be stopping in again."
