"I worked with Arthur Stuart on my automotive repair project he worked professionally and in a timely manner. My work was front bumper replacement and touch up painting he gave me a great price and I was very satisfied. I also spoke with his father about Tavo and he was very apologetic. And his comments was it will not happen again."
"I spoke to Tavo Stewart on Saturday March 27th & he convinced me to bring my vehicle to be painted. I dropped my vehicle off on Sunday March 28th & all seemed well. We agreed go half up front & the remaining once the job was completed. I was originally given a turn around time of no later than Friday April 2nd, then it was Saturday April 3rd, then finally April 4th. All was still well since I was expecting a fresh paint job. I pulled up this company with my vehicle looking the same exact way in the same exact spot that I had left it. Tavo wasn’t anywhere to be found & no longer answering any of my texts or calls. I had to not only call the police but also threaten legal action for a refund of the deposit. Artis Stewart is the owner & Tavo’s father; therefore, I reached out to him as a courtesy to let him know how unprofessional his son was conducting business. Unfortunately, I see where the issue started because his words to me where, “that’s between you & Tavo”. Therefore, I decided to educate him & let him know that not only did Tavo forge his signature on the official paperwork but since he’s doing business under your name then you’ll be held liable. I’ve now had to file a civil suit against this company which is costing more money (that I’ll be compensated for). Tavo finally reached out to let me know that he’ll be “trying” to refund me; however, that’s been over a week & the word “try” is void when you didn’t complete a job you were paid for. DON’T DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS HERE. I love black owned, which is why I came here. But the way Artis & Tavo conduct business is unacceptable."
