"My previous insurance policy expired on 11 August. I contacted EZ insurance and they spoke with the lady by name Haley and she offered me an insurance with a company called Towerhill insurance company. The policy will cover only the dwelling and will not cover wind and hail damage. I bought the policy for $1100. I got a letter on 11 September that my policy will be canceled Sept 16 The reason for cancellation is failure to supply underwriting information failure to comply with inspection requirement. EZ insurance agent Haley never told me that there is an inspection required . When I got this letter of cancellation I called EZ insurance and I spoke with the receptionist. She told me that Haley is in the office Then she called me back in a few minutes letting me know that Haley told her to tell me that my policy is canceled and she cannot help me. She did not have even the courtesy of talking to me to let me know why the policy is canceled. Later I got a call from the office another lady and she told me that the policy is canceled because I am not 1000 feet away from the water. When they wrote this policy they knew that I am not 1000 feet away from the water. If I did not meet this criteria from the beginning, why did they wrote me a policy? Now the policy is canceled so I called around to find a similar policy and the premium doubled or tripled it. Why because my policy with Towerhill was canceled. And even the agent who wrote this policy doesn’t have the courtesy to talk to me to let me know what happened The policy is canceled because she did not follow up with the Towerhill requirements. She never told me that they require an inspection. Now I am paying for someone else fault I hope that other customers will learn before they deal with them."
