"I ordered 15 embroidered hats and they were perfect. I noticed several comments about the phone not being answered. That’s bc it’s a husband and wife team and they sometimes have to close for short intervals. I have left messages and they promptly returned my call. Prices are very reasonable. Also the parking issue isn’t a problem unless the restaurant next door has a lot of customers. And yes. I’m sure the owners are frustrated with the issue of their parking being taken by non-customers. Recent renovations have made a huge difference too."
"Mr. McClendon has all kinds of t-shirts, mugs and all kinds of fun things including local author books. We stop here once or twice a year. Really enjoy talking to owner."
"Was in a big company truck, parked and was going to go inside to explore after speaking with a friend next to the building and the owner came outside yelling that we couldn't park in his lot. Even though we were going into his store. Very rude!! Once he realized that we were planning to shop with him, even to get him to make our company shirts he only then tried to be nice.. needless to say, we left!! It's not what you say but how you say it and that old man was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!"
"This place is a MUST when visiting Bayou La Batre. They have great clothing ready to buy but the unique aspect of this shop is that they do amazing custom designs. Just grab a shirt color you like and pick one of the designs and they will get that shirt ready by the next day. The owners are so friendly and would love to just sit and talk if you have a minute. Please take the time to visit this location!"
