"I had my first appointment today with Desiree, and I am thrilled. I absolutely love my cut and color and my hubby was so impressed, and he hardly ever comments on my hair. I have to say that this salon is spotless and decorated beautifully, unlike a couple of salons I’ve visited in this area. Desiree had decorated the salon for Valentine’s Day complete with a gorgeous Valentines Day tree. I walked in the door and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Aesthetically, salons in Mountain Brook like Oak Street and Trocadero have nothing on DK & Company Salon. The staff were all friendly and professional, even offering me a drink which so thoughtful. It’s was so uplifting to visit a salon where class and professionalism mean something, unlike the last salon that I patronized. Today, I had three smiling faces greet me before I could get in the door."

"I made a shampoo and cut appointment. They did not wash my hair. I showed her a photo reference of what I wanted. She cut my hair a completely different style. She was very nice but at the end of the hair cut she did not ask me to check it out in the mirror, she did not asked me if I liked it or if I wanted to change something. Part of it is also my fault becuase I did not speak up and say anything. I am a very shy person unfortunately and will suffer in silence. I'm sure they cut other people's hair just fine but my hair is completely butchered. There's no fixing my hair at this point because I have no hair left on the sides of my head unfortunately."
