"I needed a filling before a fissure developed into a cavity, but due to holiday travels, I had a small window of availability. To my delight, there was an opening at Rocky Ridge Dental Associates. What's more, the location suited me well. But what topped it off was the welcome that I received and the rapport that developed with the staff. The visit brightened my week! He has his degree in engineering as well as in dentistry and has taught at the dental school at UAB. Rocky Ridge Dental is able to custom fit and produce a crown on your first and only crown visit. Because of his deep concern for his patience, he implements a tool that illuminates or greatly lessens the discomfort of the application of Novocain. I have seen several other dentist prior to meeting Dr. Roy Smith but I will never consider going to any other dentist and dread the day he retires. P.S. Dr. Smith (Roy) is very entertaining and often times we leave the office laughing."

Dr. Smith is an absolute legend, he used some type of vibrating wand on my gum so I not only felt no pain at all when getting a lidocaine injection, but the entire experience was completely painless and honestly fun courtesy of Dr. Smith's awesome personality (and taste in music).
