"This pharmacy gave us a over the counter cough syrup instead of the prescription that was called in for my daughter. They wrote to half the dose since its not recommended for children under 6. They never consulted us or the pediatrician. I tried to return this cvs brand med and they stated they couldnt because it was a script. Even though its OTC syrup. I filed a complaint with cvs. The lady i talked with tried to talk to the pharmacist to find out why this med was changed. When she returned to the phone she said that lady was very rude and she kept saying its the same medicine. The customer relations lady said she was pushing the complaint to the top since it was a medication for a 3 yr old child. That i should hear something from district manager within couple of days. This complaint was on Oct 13 2022. Its now 1/6/23 and i still havent heard from anyone."
