"I asked the receptionist to re-reverify my insurance benefits, she refused to pick up the phone, and call the insurance company, what a way to run a business, you want my money, but want me to call the insurance company? how does me calling the insurance company verify your contract rates between the dentist, and insurance!? Dont worry about it. I will find a dentist that would actually like to know if my insurance is valid, how much they would get from their contractual rate, etc. The receptionist just did not seem interested in doing any of this, and what she wanted me to do is get them off the hook, so if the insurance company tells me all good, then the insurance comes back bad, then no liability on the part of the dentist for not calling to re-verify benefits, right, or did you think I was a complete monkey when i walked in the door?"
