"At lunch, ordered chicken hibachi w vegetables and fried rice. The chicken and veg were drowned w the same sauce, like Teriyaki or something, which I didn't see in any description. I did not like. I actually spat it out. Vegetables were old, soggy and funky, drenched in that sauce. It all tasted the same: bad. I left a whole plate of food. Kyoto is so much better. Fresher, juicier, flavorful and not hidden by a jar sauce."
"The food was great, the chef not so much. Out of ten people at our table he kept giving me the smallest portion on a $145 ticket. Did no tricks for the kids just basically cooked the food and left."
"Freshest, most delicious sushi I can remember having, ever. I had the lunch special of soup, salad w/house ginger dressing, and two sushi rolls for approx $12. I was full after the soup and salad, but once I tried the sushi, I couldn't stop. I had the Philadelphia and spicy crab rolls and they were great choices. My daughter had the California roll, and she was also very pleased. So why 4 stars? The music was loud (which increased the volume of everyone talking over it) and none of the workers ever smiled or showed any signs of being friendly. It was good enough to go back anyway."
