"Had my vehicle towed to Southern Automotive...called them and told the lady answering the phone that it needs a new water pump installed and would they also install a new timing kit and new timing belt since they had to remove the old one to replace the water pump. She said that it would totally be up to the shop owner to decide if my vehicle needs a new water pump and timing belt..They ended up just pressurized the coolant system and added a little anti freeze. They called after doing that and said vehicle is fixed come pick it up. So I go and pay them for what they did. On my way home the vehicle still not running right and not any heat inside the vehicle. They said bring it back and we will fix it. Took it back they kept it for a week Never called or anything. I called and told them I was coming to get my vehicle and take it some where that could fix the problem. Lady told me on the phone..just come get your vehicle that's fine then...I went get vehicle and take it to another shop..told that mechanic what to do to the vehicle such as install a water pump and timing job..he said it will be ready for pick up Wednesday..becareful who you try to deal with..everybody is not out to do the right thing."

"I took my truck to them with a problem with my brakes. They called 2 hrs. later to tell me what the problem was and the cost to repair it. Two hours after that, they called to say it was ready to pick up. It's like that every time I go there. Always friendly and always professional"

"Took car to have AC fixed. They kept the car for just over a month. Picked it up paid $239 for repairs and 3 hours later it's out again. Called them and said it would be shortly after 5 before we could get it back and they wouldn't wait!! Very unhappy with treatment and service from a place that we've always had great service from in the past."

"The mechanics and shop people were very nice, and very helpful. On the flip side of the coin, the lady behind the desk, who's name I shall not mention, was at first seemingly nice, but she became very rude and ornery when things were not communicated correctly between her and I. Besides dealing with a rude lady, I had a decent experience coming here to southern automotive in Moulton, Alabama."
