Karner Farm, located on Halsted Road in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, is a historic farmstead turned park that is open daily year-round from 8 am to sunset. The park features a barn, community gardens, a gravel parking lot, a seasonal portable restroom, a dog park, and expansive wetlands. The West Bloomfield Dog Park entrance is controlled by a keyless electronic system during specific hours. The community garden at Karner Farm offers 64 plots for growing farm-fresh vegetables, each approximately 450 square feet. Plots are tilled by Memorial Day, and registered gardeners have access 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm, except on Wednesdays when the park is closed for maintenance from 8 am to 11 am. "It's a nice dog park. It's spacious and open so you can easily see your dogs all over. It offers water and a few trees and fire hydrants for the dogs. Unfortunately, there's very little shade for the humans who want to sit."

"The best dog park in the area. You have to register with West Bloomfield and pay an annual fee, but it's well worth it. It's always clean, has water fountains during the warmer months, and has separate sections for large and small dogs."

"Great park to let your dog socialize with other dogs off leash. Large park area, well kept, divided into 3 separate fenced areas; one for dogs under 25 lbs, over 25 lbs, and handicapped area for old dogs and people. Well worth the $30 annual resident registration fee."
